Tile & Vinyl Floor Installation in Orlando, FL

Durable, water-resistant floors built for Florida living

Tile and luxury vinyl plank are the go-to floors in Central Florida for good reason: they stand up to humidity, sandy feet, and spills far better than carpet or hardwood. Whether a floor lasts or starts cracking and separating comes down to the prep underneath it.

How It Works

1

Measure

We measure each room, check the slab, and talk through tile and vinyl options with you.

2

Estimate

You get a clear, written estimate covering materials, prep, and installation.

3

Prep

Old flooring comes out, and the slab is cleaned, moisture-checked, and leveled where needed.

4

Install

We lay the new floor, finish the transitions, and clean up before we call it done.

Most Orlando homes are built on a concrete slab, and slabs are rarely perfectly flat. Before anything goes down, we check the slab for moisture and for high and low spots and level it where needed, because both tile and click-lock vinyl plank will show every dip and bump underneath them.

We install porcelain and ceramic tile as well as luxury vinyl plank (LVP) and luxury vinyl tile. Porcelain is extremely durable and stays cool underfoot, while waterproof vinyl plank is warmer, quieter, and quicker to install. We will walk you through the tradeoffs on look, cost, and durability for each room before you commit to anything.

We can remove and haul away your old carpet, ceramic tile, or laminate before the new floor goes in, and every project starts with a clear, written estimate, so you know exactly what is included before work begins.

Tile & Vinyl Floor Installation Questions

Both handle humidity well. Porcelain tile is the most durable and stays cool underfoot, while luxury vinyl plank is waterproof, softer and quieter to walk on, and usually costs less to install. Many homeowners choose tile for bathrooms and vinyl plank for living areas and bedrooms.

Quality vinyl plank is waterproof on the surface, so spills and splashes will not damage it. Standing water can still work through the seams to the slab, so it handles everyday water well but is not a substitute for fixing a leak.

Sometimes. Vinyl plank can often go over existing tile that is flat and firmly bonded, which saves on demolition. If tiles are cracked, loose, or uneven, removing them is the better call, and we will give you a straight answer after we look.

Vinyl plank goes in quickly, often in a day or two for several rooms. Tile takes longer because of layout, cutting, and the time thinset and grout need to cure, typically several days depending on square footage.
